I thought I'd take a moment to share information on USA Volleyball girls club programs in the Lehigh Valley. Each club has its own mission for creating competitive opportunities and developing youth players.

For the girls on the OLPH program that are interested in playing volleyball more than during the fall CYO season I'd encourage you to learn about each club and find one where you would like to challenge yourself to get more quality repetitions.

Coach John has been a local club coach and has been coaching for Quickset. Coach Leslie played for both Quickset and Synergy. Both coaches would be happy to answer any questions you may have with helping to find the right competitive experience. I know there are players that are on our current roster that participate with club programs that I am sure would also be happy to give some insight on each club.

I will pass along open gym information as I receive it from contacts in the area. My personal goal is to build the game of volleyball in the area. I think it's important to get girls playing as long as they are committed and have the resources to be able to commit to the season. I don't think there is one particular club that ALL girls should play for as I think it comes down to what the goals are for particular players.
